What is energy? Is it a life force? Is it a state of mind or is it just a guide to help us move through this universe, allowing us to do the work we were meant to do.
When we belong to a ministry, we have already made the choice to serve others. We need energy to get us up in the morning, to move us, and help us lead others.
At Cons Helping Cons, we get our energy from helping our brothers and sisters who need us to guide them through their transition from prison life to “normalcy.”
Ask yourself, where do you get your energy from and with whom do you share your energy? Consider belonging to a ministry. When you wake up in the morning, your energy will come from knowing that the people you help are thriving because of your energy.
In the morning, Lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you
and wait expectantly. -Psalm 5:3.
